New Zealand Optometry Diabetes
Photomonitoring Accreditation

             
 

This is a programme of learning and assessment designed to ensure competence of optometrists providing services at the Primary grading level as defined by the National Diabetes Retinal Screening Grading System and Referral Guidelines.
Continuing education accreditation is available for successful completion of modules.
Level 1 accreditation consists of three parts

1: Completion of this online course

2: Diagnostic techniques skill assessment as for CAA entry
    (TPA and CAA accredited optometrists are exempted this requirement)

3: Grading of test set(s) of images to required standard

A pass in all topics below is required for Level 1 Photomonitoring Accreditation
